Mouse and modifier keys
- Space + drag or the middle button: pan; Space + arrow keys: pan (10× with Ctrl)
- Ctrl + wheel: zoom; Shift + wheel: scroll horizontally
- Selection tools: Ctrl adds, Alt subtracts, Ctrl+right-click inverts (xor), Alt+right-click intersects, Shift draws a square or circle; pressing both buttons while drawing moves the selection
- Magic Wand / Paint Bucket: Shift for global mode
- Move tools and shapes: right-drag rotates (15° steps with Shift), Ctrl+drag leaves a copy; arrow keys move 1 px, Ctrl+arrow 10 px
- Clone Stamp: Ctrl+click sets the source
- Color Picker: right-click sets the secondary color, Ctrl+click samples the merged image
- Colors window: in the wheel and the palette, left-click sets the active color and right-click the other one; in the wheel Ctrl changes only the hue, Alt only the saturation, Shift snaps the hue to 15°
- Image tabs: right-click menu (Copy Path, Open Containing Folder, Save, Save As, Close), middle-click closes, the wheel scrolls the list
- Layers window: right-click opens the Layers menu, double-click opens the properties, drag to reorder, Ctrl+click on the up / down buttons moves to the top / bottom
- Brush width box: Up / Down step through the presets; corner radius − / + (5 px with Ctrl)
